GDOES
Brief description
Through close collaboration with prestigious research institutions like the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden and the Institute for Nanoarchitectures for Energy Conversion of the Helmholtz Center Berlin, Spectruma® remains at the forefront of technology and development in diverse research fields, including micro- and nanostructures and photovoltaics. Our glow discharge spectrometers, the GDA 750 HR and GDA 650 HR, play a vital role in the research and characterization of solids, enabling precise elemental analysis and layer thickness determination. Notably, these analyzers are currently utilized in the international ITER research project, aiming to create the world's largest tokamak fusion reactor. With our instruments, researchers can study the interaction of plasma with plasma-facing materials (PFMs) and achieve accurate detection of hydrogen, deuterium, and tritium.
Highest level of accuracy
Measurement of the thickness of ultrathin layers/thin films and determination of the weight of layers.
Bulk analyis
Measurement of the chemical composition of coatings, substrates and complex bulk materials.
Thanks to their reliable analytical performance and time-saving, uncomplicated operation, our glow discharge spectrometers are indispensable laboratory instruments wherever research is conducted on solids.
-
Precise and powerful detection of hydrogen and its isotopes deuterium and tritium
-
Extremely sensitive measurements with detection limits in the range of 0.1 to 10 ppm
-
Accurate measurement of layer thicknesses from a few nanometers up to several hundred micrometers
-
Relative depth resolution reaches 5-10% of the absolute depth in all near-surface layers
